No. The LockNLube BTX requires a LockNLube battery.

No. The BTX Power Head is not rated for rain conditions. Store it in a dry location. Caution: Do not drop the Power Head; damage can occur at any drop distance.

No. The BTX is rated for Hydraulic or Engine Oils up to 140W/ISO680, Coolant, and ATF only. Fuels of any type are dangerous and will damage the BTX seals. No other fluids are warranted.

Yes. Many marine mechanics use the BTX for this application. You will need to modify the nozzle tip to accommodate the type of outboard connection you use.

No. The BTX can only be used with its rated fluids.

Yes. The BTX 5 gal (20 L) Pump Stem fits 2.5 gallon jugs.

Yes. The BTX fits perfectly with 5-liter and 10-liter Oil Safe containers with their Utility Lid. It also fits Des Case 7-liter and 10-liter, and Trico 3-gallon and 4-gallon containers with Pump Lids.

No. Do not allow the BTX to run dry. Impeller damage will occur.

Yes. The adapter fits most pail bungs, and the BTX comes with an adjustable suction tube to evacuate fluids from taller pails.

Oils thicken at lower temperatures, which slows the BTX flow rate. We recommend keeping oil containers as warm as possible, indoors or with heating blanket wrap systems. The BTX works best at 60°F (15°C) and above.
