Picking grease is a mystery, and there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there. People swear that the color of their grease, or how tacky it is, is what makes a good grease. We're here to tell you that those are just plain wrong.
Thankfully, all greases should have spec sheets and undergo standard tests. We try to demystify a few of these tests to help you pick the right grease. Regardless of what grease you choose, be sure to use it regularly, and you'll solve 95% of the problem.
