My grease gun hose is kind of short and with the regular coupler I had to try to hold it on the zerk with one hand and get the gun against something to pump the handle. Now I can use both hands and so far it hasn't leaked or came off the zerk. It is a bit longer than the old one so I had to change one zerk to 90 degrees to get it in. but that's minor.
