The plastic follower is pulled up as you grease and scrapes the tube clean—no drips, no mess! The precision design allows for fast and easy priming, enabled by a vacuum seal that keeps the follower sealed tightly. Our LockNLube® Grease Coupler, In-Line Hose Swivel, and 20" whip hose mean no leaks, no mess, and no hands needed to keep the coupler in place.

I recently purchased two of these easy prime grease guns because I was absolutely fed-up with constant priming issues on my current ones. Using my cheap $20 grease guns was awful. They constantly turned a 5 minute job into 20 or 30 minutes because it would lose prime often, and I wasted so much grease in the process. Yesterday I unpacked and used one of my LockNLube easy prime grease guns on my Kubota MX6000 tractor and - all I can say is - wow. These work flawlessly. I don't write reviews often and I have no affiliation with LockNLube, but I had to come here and share my experience. Loading the gun was easy. Twist the barrel off the grease gun, pop your grease can open, drop it in, and insert the orange cap in the bottom. Make sure you follow the instructions your first time loading, as you have to load the grease tube upside down so that way the metal lip near the pop-top side prevents it from falling out the bottom of the tube. The one page instructions are easy to follow with pictures. Just follow them to avoid some frustration. It took me less than a minute to pop the grease tube in and go to work even on my first use. I was thoroughly impressed at how well the bottom orange cap prevents any grease from squeezing out the bottom sides as your pumping. In essence, the inside the grease gun as the orange cap slides upwards is almost squeaky-clean (see attached photo). That tells me there will be little waste from this gun. Overall, greasing took less than 5 minutes (as it should). As always, the locking handle and top-zerk for storing the gun is really nice. If you're on the fence of buying these, do not hesitate. So far I'm very impressed. I hope the orange caps hold up long term, but they do send you 10 of them and claim they are reusable. Only time will tell if that is truly the case, but as of now I have zero complaints. These grease guns were worth every penny.

LockNLube products are no joke. John Deere backhoe and bucket have about 24 zerks. Tip locks on and allows both hands free to hold the gun and pump the grease. Works flawlessly.
